For the bulk of our deliveries we use Aramex, Couriers Please or Australia Post. You will receive consignment note details via email from Transdirect, Australia Post or Sendle. The courier will NOT require a signature for delivery and will leave the parcel in a safe place if no one is home. i.e. Authority to Leave (ATL) is assumed.

Our boxes have pictures of bikes on them so if your bike needs to be a surprise you may want to have it delivered to work or an alternative address.

We do not deliver to PO boxes.

Manufacturers Warranty

Our Kid’s Balance Bikes come with a five-year warranty against manufacturing defects. The warranty is limited to riders weighing less than 30kgs for a 12″ bike, 50kgs for a 14″ bike & 100kgs for our 18″ bike, and 120kgs for a 24″ bike.

Our Kids Scooters come with a two-year warranty against manufacturing defects.

Our Kids Helmets and Adult Helmets come with a 1 year warranty against manufacturing defects.

Our Bike Accessories come with a 1 year warranty against manufacturing defects.

Resolving warranty issues is easy. Simply contact nicole@aquamarine-salmon-303937.hostingersite.com and include the following information:

Please explain the issue you’re experiencing with your Kidvelo product.
Attach a digital photo.
Complete shipping address.
Daytime phone number.
Email address.
The Production Date and Batch number of your Bike if applicable.

Return shipping cost is the responsibility of the buyer, whether returning or exchanging.

Please refrain from unpacking and/or assembling if there is a possibility of a return for personal reasons.

If we make a shipping error, such as the wrong colour, style, or size, we will gladly email you a pre-paid return label to send the item back to us for an exchange or refund.

Ordering the wrong size is NOT considered an error on Kidvelo’s part. Please be sure of your choice(s) when making your purchase.

Returns Policy

Since we all share the goal of having your child happily riding outside, we encourage you to call us as we might be able to resolve the issue without returning the product.

All of our kid’s products come with a warranty against manufacturing defects and a 30 day 100% Love your Ride satisfaction guarantee.

Make sure you follow our instructions on how to fit a helmet on your child. Every helmet will come with a head circumference range. Using a soft tape measure, measure the circumference of the child’s head about an inch above their eyebrows, or the thickest part of their head. If it falls within the cm range shown, the helmet will fit. If unsure go up to the bigger size, and see Returns Policy prior to ordering.

Determining Your Helmet Size

The proper helmet fit is one of the most important factors for safety and comfort. A snug, aligned fit will achieve a safe and secure ride. Below are 3 simple steps to determine the proper helmet size.

Step 1

MEASURE

Measure the circumference of your head with a tape measure – roughly 2.5cm above your eyebrows.

Take several measurements to make sure you have the largest size.

If you do not have a tape measure, use string or a phone charger cable and measure it against a ruler.

Step 2

WEAR YOUR HELMET

Once you have determined your helmet size, try it on. The helmet should be worn level on the head, and hot slide or move freely when you roll your head form side to side.

If this is the case, you have a helmet that is too large. Extra padding may help provide a better, more snug fit.

PROPER FIT

Be sure the front of the helmet lays just above your eyebrows and that the back of the helmet does not touch the nape of the neck.

The chin strap should fit snug to where you can only insert 2 fingers. If thee skin on your forehead moves slightly, you have a good fit.
